sound
I've made 4 different sounds designs in the Drew Schnurr's 'Sound' course. Each piece has it's own theme and often deals with life recording. All pieces are made with Logic Pro.
This is an introductory piece and explores the tension field between competition vs collaboration.
By using live recordings, this piece deals with the US invasion in Iraq.
Using a world famous sentence of former president Clinton I modified content by means of intonation. The concept is based on the idea that a massage is build up out of content and noise where the noise might change the content drastically in some cases.
I wanted to make a auditory equivalent of a stop motion video. To do this I wrote a program to automate the process of auditory snapshot selection in long pieces of self recorded footage. It is about hurrying to relax. Our relaxation time is planned in our lives as if it is something we could cross from our to-do list each week.
